• Bird Award, 1996
  Cees won the Bird Award in 1996 at het North Sea Jazz Festival together with Ray Brown and, posthumously , Pim Jacobs. The “Bird winning” concert was performed with Ray Brown, Toots Thielemans, Philip Catherine, Piet Noordijk and John Engels. See also de video on YouTube.
  Nowadays the Bird award is called the Paul Acket Award.

• Duke Of Duketown, 1992
  In this year Cees plays at the jazz festival of ‘s-Hertogenbosch with tenorsaxofone player Scott Hamilton and singer Ingram Washington. Cees receives the “Duke Of Duketown” Award.
  
  
• Edison, 1962
  The Edison is received by The Diamond Five for their EP’s “pollwinners jazz”. The Edison was presented at the Grand Gala du disque.
